â-ºtwitch.tv â-º This is a chess tournament (ChessCube Meltdown) I competed in on chesscube.com while livestreaming on twitch.tv .Time controls are 2 minutes per player, however with a time handicap they are adjusted according to both players’ ratings.
you make chess seem easy
17:21 “this is very scary..” while missing mate in one ;P
@159yankees I know. White thought Black was gonna keep checking him. But Black instead went to Rh1. Which would’ve allowed Ra8#. But White instead did Ke6. He missed the mate.
@UGB6WX ok
haha. The two players at 12:27 pussied out when the stakes got higher
hehehe – someone commented in public chat “chess network what a boss you are. you are the boss and i am the employee
”
I was cracking up in the beginning there. It’s like jerry was high or something.
for some reason youre playing more than 1guy at a time since you refer them as they
just found that funny
you missed mate on f2 when white had 30 seconds and u had 33
Forkerewsky comin’ up on F3!
@ChessNetwork I’m sure someone has mentioned it, but @17:20 Qf2-a2#
you’re the boss and I’m the employee. Hehe…
Great games! When the white king moves to b2 at 3:25 knight to d3 wins a bit faster it seems.
@159yankees Ra8# He was not in check. Blacks Rook went to h1. White EXPECTED a check, which is why he didn’t do mate. He miss-read his move. Basically got lucky
I’m 30 seconds into the video and I’m already laughing at Jerry cursing himself (for using the Sicilian opening).
@tehjoch that forkerewsky leads to loss of pawns. If Jeremiah made the Ng2, then I imagine, it would lead to Rg1 which is a self-inflicted pin (unless I’m totally missing something). then Jerry (who doesn’t want to be pinned, takes NxRh4, whitey takes RxRg7 and has 2 more targets (f2 and h2)
2:53 why not just fork the rooks and take one for free with Ng2?
lol 17:24 you had a mate…
) and after he missed it you are ROFLMAO
))
Well, he couldnt mate at 18:08 because he was in check
@UGB6WX Rf1 and Rf2 by black were checks
